Hourly Rate: $25-$30/hr
Osseo, MN
Children: Two, 4-year-old girl (primary care) and 6-year-old (in school full time, occasional care may be needed when home sick or on school days off)
Schedule: Monday -Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm (40 hours guaranteed per week)
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
Experience supporting children with developmental or emotional regulation needs strongly preferred
Experience with dietary restrictions or allergies required; strict dairy-free household
Current CPR and First Aid Certification (proof required before start)
Non-smoker, non-vaper. No drugs or alcohol while on duty
Strict "no posting children on social media" policy
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
Ability to limit personal phone use while actively caring for the child
Ability to provide 3-5 professional references
This is a private nanny placement. This position is not affiliated with PCA services or any state-funded childcare program
This family is not open to a Nannie bringing their own child

About You: We are seeking a calm, patient, and deeply nurturing Nannie who leads with warmth above all else. Our daughter does not respond well to strict or rigid caregiving styles. She needs someone who can hold boundaries gently, offer plenty of encouragement, and support her emotional development with empathy and creativity. The ideal candidate is imaginative, active, and comfortable supporting a child with specific dietary needs and therapy appointments. This family values open communication, initiative, and a caregiver who truly loves what they do.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Day: Confidently manage daily routines, meal prep, and age-appropriate activities while following a strict dairy-free diet for the child
Developmental Play: Plan creative, imaginative, and active activities including outings to parks, playdates, and community spaces. This family gives full reign on outings and activity planning
Gentle Parenting: Support emotional regulation and development using empathy, redirection, and positive reinforcement. No timeouts or raised voice
Therapy Support: Assist with coordination and transportation to speech, OT, and potential part-day preschool appointments
Household Upkeep: Light child-related tidying, dishes, laundry, and general organization to keep the home running smoothly
Communication: Daily text check-ins as needed. This family trusts their Nannie to make independent decisions and check in occasionally rather than requiring constant updates
