**CLOSED** Two Nanny's Needed for Infant in Rosemount, MN
CFR42126

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Rosemount, MN
Children: One Infant, 6 Months old
Schedule:
Flexible! Two nannies needed to provide coverage 7:00am–7:00pm, 7 days a week for an initial 3-month commitment, with the potential to be longer and to transition to one nannie long-term. We are open to scheduling flexibility and will work with the right candidates to find the best fit. Two example structures we are considering: a daily split (7:00am–1:00pm / 1:00pm–7:00pm) or an alternating day split (e.g., Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun vs. Tue/Thur/Sat). Open to other schedule options as well.
Responsibilities:
Primary Caregiver: Your first and most important job is the care, safety, and wellbeing of the infant at all times. Everything else is secondary.
Milestone Support: Engage the baby in age-appropriate activities that support physical, cognitive, and emotional development, including tummy time, sensory play, language-rich interactions, and motor skill development
Lead the Day: Take full ownership of the infant's daily rhythm, including feeding, bottle prep, naps, diapering, and age-appropriate engagement without over-relying on devices or containers
Play-Based Exploration: Plan and execute creative, screen-free, child-led activities that support development through imagination and sensory play
Outings & Socialization: Independently plan and lead outings to approved locations including parks, libraries, and playdates on a regular basis
Gentle Parenting in Practice: Support the infant's emotional world using empathy and attunement, never using character-based language (e.g., "fussy," "difficult," "colicky")
Child-Related Household Tasks: Manage all child-related chores including washing bottles, laundering baby items, tidying play spaces, restocking diaper supplies, and keeping the nursery area organized
Family Communication: Operate independently throughout your shift and provide a thorough end-of-day verbal update so the family stays informed without needing to be involved in every decision

About You:
We are seeking two experienced, reliable, self-directed nannies to share coverage during an initial 3-month period (potentially longer), with the possibility of transitioning to a single long-term position. The right candidates lead with warmth and curiosity, follow a child's cues rather than a rigid schedule, and bring calm, grounded energy into an active and social home. You will have high autonomy in your day-to-day approach, but you must be deeply aligned with our parenting philosophy. This is not a role for someone who defaults to screens, containers, or structured routines. It is a role for someone who sees undirected play as the work.
Qualifications:
Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience, infant experience is a must
Philosophy Alignment: Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to play-based, gentle parenting approaches
Availability: Ability to commit to a 3-month schedule (maybe longer) covering 7:00am–7:00pm, 7 days a week (split between two candidates), with potential to continue long-term
Safety: CPR and First Aid Certification (proof required)
Health & Wellness: Non-smoker; fully vaccinated preferred
Privacy: Strict no posting children on social media policy
Transportation: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle (car seats provided by family)
References: Ability to provide 3–5 professional references
Note: This family is not open to a nannie bringing their own child
Must be 18+ and legally able to work in the US (paid via W-2)
