Responsibilities:
Primary Caregiver: Your first and most important job is the care, safety, and wellbeing of both girls at all times. Everything else is secondary.
Infant Care: Provide attentive, specialized care for the 3-month-old including feeding, bottle prep, naps, diapering, tummy time, and age-appropriate sensory engagement
Milestone Support: Engage both children in age-appropriate activities that support their individual developmental stages, from infant motor development and sensory play to preschool-age language, imaginative play, and early independence skills
Toddler Engagement: Keep the 3-year-old engaged, stimulated, and emotionally supported throughout the day with creative, screen-free, child-led activities rooted in play-based and Montessori-inspired approaches
Gentle Parenting in Practice: Navigate behavior using empathy, redirection, natural consequences, and positive reinforcement, always in alignment with the family's established approach
Healthy Nutrition: Prepare age-appropriate meals and snacks that reflect the family's commitment to healthy eating
Child-Related Household Tasks: Manage child-related chores including washing bottles, laundering children's items, tidying play spaces, and keeping shared areas organized
Light Household Upkeep: Support the overall flow of the home with light tidying, dishes, and general organization as needed
Family Communication: Provide daily text updates throughout the day, maintain a written log or notes as needed, and give a thorough verbal check-in at the end of each shift. This family loves staying connected and values open, ongoing dialogue.
Guaranteed Hours
Overtime on all hours worked over 40 hours/week

You are nurturing and playful but also calm, structured when it counts, and deeply committed to doing this work with integrity. You align with a gentle, Montessori-inspired philosophy and lead with empathy, natural consequences, and positive reinforcement. You welcome daily communication with parents, take initiative in your role, and bring creativity and genuine warmth to every single day. This family values open, direct feedback and wants a nannie who is equally comfortable giving and receiving it.
Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience, with demonstrated experience caring for both infants and toddlers simultaneously
Multi-Age Expertise: Confidence and skill managing the very different needs of a newborn and a preschooler at the same time
Philosophy Alignment: Genuine alignment with gentle, Montessori-inspired, play-based parenting approaches
Screen-Free Commitment: This family does not allow any screen time and the nannie must fully support and uphold that standard
Healthy Living: Comfort with and commitment to preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks
Safety: CPR and First Aid Certification (proof required)
Privacy: Strict no posting children on social media policy
Transportation: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle
References: Ability to provide 3–5 professional references and a desire for a long-term fit
