**POSITION FILLED** Part-Time Before & After School Nanny Needed for Busy Household in Edina

Hourly Rate: $28 - $30/Hour, DOE
Location: Edina, MN
Children: Two - 6.5 YO Boy and 3 YO Girl
Mon - Fri 6:30am - 8:30am & 4:30pm - 6:30pm (20 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
Assist with the morning routine: breakfast, getting dressed, and out the door on time
School/daycare drop-off and pickup
Start dinner
Provide a smooth, structured transition back home in the afternoons
Pets:
One chihuahua (no care needed, but nanny must not be allergic or fearful of dogs)

Following Paid Holidays (if they fall on a normal work day: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day) - if asked to work on these days you will get paid double your hourly rate

Sick time per MN law (1 hour earned per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours/year)

What We're Looking For: We’re seeking a highly punctual, reliable, and engaging nanny who truly enjoys working with children and can confidently manage the before and after school rush. You should be a self-starter, a clear communicator, and able to stick to a consistent routine while bringing warmth, structure, and joy to our kids’ day. A non-smoker and someone fully vaccinated is a must.
Requirements:
CPR and First Aid Certification (proof required)
Non-Smoker
Fully Vaccinated - kept up to date
Minimum age: 18 years
High School Diploma or GED
Legal work authorization in the U.S.
At least 3 years of paid childcare experience
Background check required
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Auto insurance, proof required (family will pay any extra coverage if needed)
Ability to provide 3-5 professional references
Ability to commit for at least one year, preferably 2+ years
True Passion for working with children
Strong time management, reliability, and professionalism
This family is not open to a nanny bringing their own child
