Invest in Your Family with Confidence

Clear, all-inclusive pricing that saves you time, stress, and guesswork.

The Investment

Choosing to hire a nanny isn’t just about convenience.  It’s one of the most personal and impactful investments a family can make. You’re not simply paying for childcare, you’re investing in your child’s development, your family’s routine, and your own ability to show up at your best.  A professional nanny offers consistency, personalized attention, and nurturing support that centers your child’s unique needs and your family’s values. It’s a long-term commitment to quality care, safety, and peace of mind.

At Nurturing Nannies, we believe finding exceptional care should feel simple, not stressful. That’s why we’ve created a pricing model that reflects real family feedback: no overwhelming upfront fees, no hidden charges, and no confusing fine print.  Just clear, predictable pricing you can trust.

Pay-As-You-Go Simplicity

Instead of a large upfront placement fee, we offer an all-inclusive hourly rate that covers everything:

  • 100% of your nanny’s earnings (we never take a cut of their pay)

  • Payroll processing and tax compliance

  • Workers’ compensation and employer liability insurance

  • Ongoing support, training, and management from our team

  • Guaranteed hours, benefits, and protections for your caregiver

This model allows you to pay as you go (similar to a payment plan versus a large upfront fee, like so many of you requested) , while still receiving full support and saving time and energy when it comes to the legal part of things.

One-Time Onboarding Fees

To begin your search, we keep costs reasonable and transparent:

  • $188 New Family Registration Fee

  • $700 Search Fee (collected after your consultation)

  • Two weeks of your nanny’s salary, due before their first day.  Securing your match and allowing us to set up payroll on your behalf

What Is a Realistic Expectation of Time a Family Will Spend Conducting Their Own Nanny Search?

A DIY nanny search can be a long and intensive process, especially when you’re balancing it with work, parenting, and daily life. While some families get lucky, the average independent search takes between 7 to 13 weeks from start to finish.

Here’s a realistic breakdown of the time investment involved:

  • Preparation (1-2 weeks): Job Description & Research: Crafting a comprehensive job description and understanding market rates and legal requirements can take approximately 5-10 hours.

  • Recruitment (2-4 weeks): Advertising & Networking: Posting on various platforms and reaching out to networks may require about 3-5 hours per week. Application Review: Evaluating resumes and certifications/qualifications could add another 2-4 hours per week, depending on the number of applicants.

  • Screening (2-3 weeks): Initial Interviews: Conducting phone or video interviews might take 3-6 hours per week, assuming multiple candidates. Reference Checks: Contacting previous employers can consume an additional 2-3 hours per week.

  • In-Person Interviews (1-2 weeks): Meetings & Trial Periods: Scheduling and conducting in-person interviews and trial days can require 4-8 hours per week.

  • Finalization (1-2 weeks): Background Checks & Contract Negotiation: Completing background checks and discussing contract terms may take around 3-5 hours per week.

Total Estimated Time Commitment: Approximately 40 to 80 hours over the course of the entire search. Many families spend countless hours — often over multiple months — reviewing applications and conducting interviews, only to feel overwhelmed or unsure by the end of it.

Why Work With Nurturing Nannies?

Hiring a professional agency like ours can significantly reduce your timeline, without sacrificing quality or fit. While we do maintain a strong pool of pre-screened, vetted candidates, we conduct a personalized search for each family to ensure you’re matched with a nanny who truly aligns with your unique needs, schedule, and values. Most families are matched within 4–6 weeks, sometimes sooner, depending on availability and flexibility.

And it’s not just about speed, it’s about finding the right fit with care, efficiency, and peace of mind.

Here’s how we simplify your search:

  • We screen every candidate with our in-depth 12-step screening process

  • Verify backgrounds and references (before we send you their recorded interview)

  • Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments

  • Record and share interviews so you can review on your own schedule (without being ghosted or having your time wasted with no shows)

  • Present only the best-aligned candidates

  • Coordinate paid trial days/meet and greets, guide onboarding, and support you and your nanny  beyond the hire

We’ve refined every step of this process to make it efficient, personalized, and effective — so you can focus on welcoming the right caregiver into your home.

Your Time Is Precious

Delegating your search to our expert team gives you back those 40+ hours and the emotional bandwidth to focus on what really matters.

NURTURING NANNIES ALL-INCLUSIVE HOURLY RATES

Our all-inclusive hourly rate covers 100% of your nanny’s wages plus all the costs and protections that come with being a legal employer.  Like payroll taxes, workers’ comp, sick leave, and insurance. We handle all of this behind the scenes so you don’t have to worry about legal compliance, tax filings, or hidden liabilities. It’s predictable, stress-free, and fully managed for you.

Most families don’t realize that hiring a nanny legally on their own typically means paying an additional 18 to 25 percent on top of the nanny’s wage to cover employer taxes, workers’ compensation, and other legal obligations. If you use a payroll company, that cost increases further (closer to 30 percent), along with the administrative burden.

At Nurturing Nannies, we are the legal employer of your nanny, which means we handle all of that for you!  Including: taxes, filings, workers’ comp, and payroll. These costs are already built into our hourly rate, so you can enjoy reliable, fully compliant care without the paperwork or hidden fees.
